Based on leadership style and international experiences, tapped to oversee the shared services site leaders who manage IGBS Hyderabad, India (265 employees) and Warsaw, Poland (85 employees) in supporting Ashland’s global businesses. – Oversaw the design and implementation of many IGBS functions; worked with functional managers to establish metrics for employee efficiency (including cycle times, transaction volumes, cost per transaction, number of employees by location, and others). – Captured approximately $1.4 million in cost savings in first 18 months, by transferring roles from North America and Europe and streamlining department operations and layers. – Led the creation and rollout of development plans and career paths for Hyderabad team, to define process and benchmarks for promotions, merit increases, and career paths. – Oversaw the planning and delivery of 5,800 hours of training in Hyderabad, and 3,300 hours in Warsaw, leading to improved employee skills and increased work efficiencies. – Established and implemented continuous improvement processes, Six Sigma training, and coaching in Hyderabad and Warsaw. To date, 171 employees have completed process improvement training, and 26 process improvements projects have been completed, resulting in annual savings of $100,000. – Oversaw creation and implementation of mentor/mentee leadership development program in Hyderabad. – Improved and maintained customer satisfaction with Master Data services, once the services were moved to India. (At the same time, the move to India lowered overall delivery cost by 60+%.) In 2017, 91% of customers reported being very satisfied or satisfied with services. – Travel to Hyderabad quarterly to meet with site leaders and managers to ensure that teams are on track to meet IGBS strategic objectives, and to provide corporate updates via townhall-style presentations.
