As a cybersecurity engineer at Priority OnDemand I play a pivotal role in hardening mission critical resources, vulnerability management, threat hunting, and incident response to secure and defend Priority Ambulance’s operations while still enabling field units to provide emergency medical services. I engaged with various team members, departments, and 3rd party entities to engineer necessary solutions, respond to security incidents, and provide guidance to various operations from the IT security perspective. During my time at this position I have spearheaded Privileged Access Management (PAM), rebuilt Mobile Device Management, played an essential role in the implementation of DNS/Content controls, bolstered our EDR/XDR systems, designed and led all vulnerability management efforts, and revamped our SIEM infrastructure and ingest.

During my time as a Corporate Helpdesk Engineer, I provided premium IT support to the corporate and leadership teams across both western and eastern operations. My role involved fostering strong relationships with colleagues to stay attuned to the office dynamics, priorities, and challenges. Leveraging this insight, I was able to efficiently prepare workstations and maintain a stock of essential IT resources, ensuring consistent productivity, comfort, and trust in the IT team and infrastructure. The system I established in the local corporate office proved pivotal when I was called upon to simultaneously fill in for a senior IT field engineer at a subsidiary of Priority OnDemand in the greater Phoenix area. There, I seamlessly continued to deliver key IT services, including Active Directory Administration, MDM Administration, Office 365/Entra Administration, user training and support, device deployment, and managing the onboarding/offboarding processes, along with the administration of the Computer Automated Dispatch System.

During my tenure at The Sequoyah School K-12, I played a crucial role in the administration, enhancement, and modernization of core technologies essential for empowering educators and ensuring student safety. Upon joining, I encountered outdated infrastructure, compromised system configurations, deteriorating network cabling, and a lack of advanced helpdesk tools necessary for efficient remote support. To address these challenges, I collaborated with leadership teams to establish baselines, set clear expectations, and draft budgets for upgrades. My efforts culminated in a contemporary, efficient helpdesk support model, fortified critical infrastructure (network appliances, cloud platforms, on-premises domain), improved network/Wi-Fi connectivity, and enabled Sequoyah to transition to remote operations within two weeks of the Covid-19 quarantine mandate. During the mandate, I organized and led a hands-on virtual robotics course that encompassed design theory, fabrication, circuitry, and programming. This course later evolved into the Sequoyah High School robotics program.

My primary duties are the maintenance, advancement, and facilitation of our Establishments Technological resources with the added benefit of assisting instructors with technology integrated lesson plans.
