I have over 20 years of experience in web and mobile development. I have been lucky to have worked in various industries including gaming, consulting, healthcare, and finance. In New York, I was Director of Technology for Flightpath Inc., a web consulting company. After moving to San Francisco, I became the lead developer and head manager for the Professional Services Consulting Group at GameSpy, a division of IGN Entertainment. At GameSpy I was an integral part of building the back-end infrastructure, in-game integration, websites, and project management for some of the biggest games ever made including Grand Theft Auto IV, Command and Conquer 3, and Battlefield 2142. I then joined an early-stage startup, BinWise, which developed restaurant wine software as Director of Technology. Driving the technical decisions for the company, I worked there for 2 years. After some time off, and a trip around the world, I began working as a contractor with various clients to build front-end and back-end pieces of web and mobile applications.Working with smart people to build amazing software and get it in the hands of users is my favorite part of my job. Throughout my career I have learned that there are times to roll up your sleeves and code away and there are many times when you need to step back and understand what is being built and plan things out. I am always willing to listen to a co-worker's or user's opinion and try to integrate that into what I am doing.
