I have been a Human Resources professional since 2011. I have successfully helped businesses build an effective workforce. My passions lie within Recruiting/Talent Acquisition and within Employee Relations. My recruiting experience includes both agency and corporate recruiting. I have worked as a Technical Recruiter in both the agency and corporate recruiting environments. I have staffed positions ranging from Vice President of Hosting, Technical Support, Engineers, Software Developers and more. I have partnered with local and national companies to assist with their staffing needs. In addition, I helped to build and maintain relationships with the local community to help build a viable candidate pipeline. In addition to recruiting for technical resources, I have recruited for positions ranging from accountants to engineers to welders to customer service representatives. Candidates were placed on contract to hire assignments and directly to the company. Before becoming a recruiter, I worked at the Idaho Department of Labor as a Business Solutions Specialist. I met with local business in the technology industry and educated them on services the IDOL could help with. In addition, I attended local networking functions to raise awareness of IDOL. I also facilitated Resume Workshops and LinkedIn Workshops and co-facilitated Professional Networking group and Job Club.Prior to the IDOL I was in the aviation industry both as a civilian and in the US Navy. As a Shift Manager with ARINC, my main function was employee relations. In 2013, I successfully completed a Master’s of Science in Management with a concentration in Human Resources. I completed a BSBA also from Thomas Edison State College in 2010.In my spare time, I run long distance. I also am a third party voter register for Virginia.
