Preparedness Public Information Officer
Current- Serves as Public Information Officer for KDHE’s Preparedness Program- Works as a bridge between the Preparedness Program and KDHE’s Communications Team- Works with Deputy Communications Director to edit and approve documents and PowerPoints presentations- Works with Graphic Designers to develop and approve graphics and other marketing materials for Preparedness Program- Makes website updates for the Bureau of Community Health Systems and the Bureau of Facilities and Licensing- Organizes and hosts monthly COVID-19 update webinars for local partners across the state of Kansas- Hosts communications related trainings for statewide partners in the form of annual webinars- Takes part in Wolf Creek exercises with leaders from KDHE and other state officials- Serves as a backup administrator for the Kansas Health Alert Network (KS-HAN)- Serves on the Employee Engagement and Recognition Committee
