As a husband and father of 3 I am grateful for the many years the mortgage industry has provided for my family. It’s allowed us to do the things we love like traveling, paddle boarding, kayaking, hiking, long drives to new destinations, and spending quality time with each other. In my role as the CA State Production Manager for CA Bank & Trust I’m focused on being a leader that strives to achieve excellence in himself and as well others. Driving value to all those that we encounter and being a person with high integrity and character. That’s why I developed the below 4 core values: 1. Operate with kindness: This means that we put people before all. How we treat each other will be the defining example of our culture. 2. Be Intentional Daily: This means we show up every day. We put focus on a task until completion. We use systems to help keep us on track and allow to quantify our efforts. 3. First Things First: This means we put focus where focus is needed. Sometimes that is at home with the family. Maybe there is a project at work that needs that focus. But all in all there must be balance between work and life. To have an imbalance in one or the other will bring failure in both. 4. Serve & Give: It’s through serving others that we have true reward. Volunteerism is a lifestyle which can be at a homeless shelter, at a pet hospital, or possibly your church/religious center. Giving of monies or “tools” as I would call it is an excellent way to promote change in the world and give you a higher purpose.
