Test Development Engineer - a multifaceted role including:* Developing the manufacturing test plan for Cisco routing products with manufacturers and other Cisco hardware and software teams* Developing and reviewing test code* Using Computer Science expertise to help widespread shift to Git version control, coding standards enforcement, CI/CD (continuous integration, continuous delivery), and Jenkins automation of test scripts* Supporting the rollout of new test infrastructure through hosting trainings and Q&A sessions* Applying data analytics to track and enforce the new test infrastructure adoption across Cisco* Negotiating and procuring test equipment for new products

In the summer of 2013 I worked with the Texas A&M University Department of Computer Science and Engineering's Computing for Disasters REU. I worked with Dr. Shipman to extend the PerCon data analysis software to support analysis of emergency informatics data. To do this I interviewed researchers in emergency informatics to determine their needs and worked on implementation to provide for those needs.
