As an industry veteran with close to 20 years of experience in scaling retail media, mobile, and adtech businesses, James has a deep understanding of how publishers, marketers and media companies can adopt disruptive technologies to develop new business models and monetization opportunities.James recently joined TAPPP as VP, Partnerships & Operations, where he will be helping to develop a new, innovative ecosystem sitting at the intersection of media and transactions.Prior to joining TAPPP, James was Regional Head of Strategy, Partnerships & Finance at Grab’s advertising arm, GrabAds, leading a team across Southeast Asia to help brands reach, engage, and transact on the region’s leading superapp, Grab.Prior to Grab, James was the APAC vice president and general manager of global demand side platform, DataXu (Acquired by Roku), where he established and led the Asia Pacific region. He also spent a number of years with Mobile advertising pioneer Enpocket (Acquired by Nokia), looking after strategy and business development. James also spends time as an Advisor to early to mid stage growth companies, mentoring up and coming digital marketing talents, and contributes to Industry Associations (recently serving as Regional Board Member at Interactive Advertising Bureau’s (IAB) Southeast Asia and India chapter). James holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts, United States of America.
