About Joseph Sanicky
Customer Service has been my bread and butter for the majority of my working career. I'm a highly empathetic man with a knack for active listening and problem solving, the perfect combination of traits for optimal customer support. I thrive in positions which allow me near-constant contact with others that focus on clear communication and detail-oriented problems of moderate to high complexity. I am a man of many hats. The most important aspect of employment to me is the opportunity provided by the company to help me avoid stagnation within a position. Even if such a thing is to occur, however, I have plenty of gumption and will take my free time upon myself to further my skills within a position or innovate an additional tool or reference material to further the goals of the position or team. This compulsion to avoid stagnation lead me to my most prized on-the-job achievement: an Autohotkey script over 25,000 characters in length which I produced over a six-month period between calls. The script drastically reduced my call times, increased my order accuracy (due to automating so many unnecessary clicks on outdated software), and streamlined my workflow to the point where I barely needed to interface with my software during calls. This left me free to focus all of my energies on the customer themselves instead of navigating outmoded software which resulted in better sales and customer satisfaction. A trimmed-down version of my script was propagated to my team members to assist them with their daily work as well, which was a most satisfactory outcome. My purview includes customer service, technology services, tutoring, technical work, management in minor capacities, and a splash of writing. My favorite workplace perk to date has been the opportunity to partake of a local toastmasters group within the company.I have a words-per-minute count above 100 at 98% accuracy and incredibly technology-literate.
Listed skills include Customer Service, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Word, Sales, and 15 others.
