Lead Technical Support Engineer
CurrentOur team provides technical support for customers who use a variety of versions of VisualWorks Smalltalk and ObjectStudio Smalltalk. This support requires us to dig into, debug, and understand all levels of the frameworks of those development environments, and to propose solutions not only to our customers, but often to members of the Cincom Smalltalk Engineering teams. One of my more complicated Cases involved debugging and fixing problems in the VisualWorks debugger.As a Lead Technical Support Engineer, my additional duties include moderating our weekly team meetings and helping to make sure our new Cases are evenly distributed from the incoming queue to members of the team.
