Founded in October 2009, Greenlight Bookstore LLC is an independent retail business in Brooklyn, New York with two bookstore locations and a stationery store. Greenlight combines the best traditions of the neighborhood store with a forward-looking sensibility. We emphasize a philosophy of welcome in customer service, produce dynamic events and programming, curate a thoughtful selection of books and other products, and partner with community organizations, to serve our neighborhoods and the book world.

Working with major and independent publishing houses and authors to book, organize, publicize, and host author events 4 to 6 nights a week at McNally Jackson's Prince Street location, in addition to offsite events, private parties, and partnerships with other organizations. Additionally, I buy books for the graphic novels section, order and receive event books, work floor shifts including shelving and customer service, and maintain the events page on the store's website.

Creating "value-added" services to position independent book wholesaler BookStream as an intermediary not just of the physical book, but for a conversation between publishers, booksellers, and others in the book industry.

Acted as part of the managerial team of two-floor general and academic bookstore on the Upper West Side: directing staff, interfacing with customers, and helping to set the course of the bookstore
