Advise on policy issues;

As a Senior Economic Research Analyst, I am responsible for undertaking complex techno-economic research and analysis on trade and economic issues of importance to the Government of Yukon. I assess the economic potential of large infrastructure projects and provide strategic analysis for the Ministry of Economic Development.

I coordinated the implementation of the Yukon's Labour Market Framework with the inputs of stakeholders from the public sector, the NGOs, the First Nations and the business community. The goals of the Framework is to improve over the next 10 years the territorial labour force and Yukon's economic performance.

The Yukon First Nations Public Service Coordinator was responsible for establishing the basis for a future Yukon Aboriginal Public Service Commission. This initiative was not put in place. In addition, the mandate of the coordinator was to foster the development of the professional skills of First Nations people working for self-governing First Nations governments.

I researched on best practises in management for a group affiliated with IPAC called CEPMA, the Centre of Excellence in Performance Management and Accountability.http://www.ipac.ca/CEPMA

As an intern, I helped to make known a model of public consultation inspired by civic lotteries, a method of engagement designed around the concept of a random selection of the citizens to be engaged with.

I worked for the Communication Branch on a plan to reorganize the City's newspaper to reach a better effectiveness in term of cost of operation. My reports proposed a method to reach the target set by the mayor office.
