JS is the former co-owner and CEO of WhyteSpyder, Inc. JS joined WhyteSpyder in 2019 as COO, where he transformed the service-based marketing company into a retail ecommerce SaaS provider for Walmart suppliers. JS moved into the CEO role in late 2019 and led the company to five consecutive profitable years with 100%+ revenue growth each year. In 2021, JS led the sale of WhyteSpyder to Ascential, PLC, a dominate global ecommerce information and capabilities resource for the world’s top brands. WhyteSpyder merged into Ascential’s Flywheel Digital brand in 2023, before Flywheel was acquired by Omnicom Group at the beginning of 2024. JS previously spent more than 10 years in sales and marketing leadership at Pace Industries, North America's leading die casting company. JS led marketing for the company and sales at 5 of Pace’s 10 divisions, landing more than $300M in new business during his tenure. He was a founder of Field Agent, the first app-based field intelligence solution for retailers and retail suppliers, and the first Apple App Store app to pay users. Other start-ups include Colby Valve, the first emergency tire valve for off-road riders in 2017, and eUpgrade.com, one of the world’s first comparison shopping engines in 1998. He has vast experience with Walmart through various roles, including Rockfish Interactive, where he was the architect of MyWalmart.com, Walmart’s internal associate portal for more than a decade, as well as NorthStar Partnering Group, where he led a team that planned and executed the world’s first and largest retail flu shot event at more than 8,000 Walmart, Sam’s Club, Target and Rite-Aid stores in a single weekend.His experience ranges broadly from manufacturing, foreign sourcing, casting, and machining to mass retail, merchandising and ecommerce to technology, SaaS and systems architecture. His capabilities include sales process and system creation, lean manufacturing, and operational excellence. He has a passion for developing strong corporate cultures and implementing strategic goals and metrics that align individual performance to company success, which has led to positive recognition and trust from his peers and fellow corporate leaders.JS was named in the Northwest Arkansas Business Journal’s Forty Under 40 class in 2017, recognized as best-in-class by his peers in all industries. He is highly involved in supporting the Children’s Safety Center, a non-profit organization in Springdale, AR. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Oklahoma in 2001, with a major in marketing and minor in accounting.
