Achievements:-Raised 190,000 USD though grants and equity to launch the business in Colombia.-Grew the business 286% from 2017 to 2018, reaching 223MM COP in revenue and operational break even.-Built an 8-person team to take care of fulfillment of transactions.-Reduced waste and purchasing costs by 63% and 29% respectively, using technology to optimize key processes in the industry.Responsibilities include:-Select, design and develop the platform used to satisfy the needs of the two-sided network.-Lead the digital transformation of informal processes in the transaction of agricultural products.-Deploy the sales channels to connect the communities of Cundinamarca, Tolima and Antioquia with buyers in Bogotá.-Manage the fulfillment of transactions, overseeing the produce, cash and information flows.-Lead the financial reporting activities to keep investors informed.-Control the budget and cash flow needs.-Supervise the fulfillment of our tax responsibilities with Colombia’s authorities.-Design the social media strategies to broaden Grou's reach, overseeing the deployment through a third party.-Lead the HR function of the business by searching, interviewing and hiring candidates.-Develop the incetives package for our employees, aligning Grou's goals with our team's performance.
