I work for U.S. and international elementary educational publishers and development houses, writing, editing, and proofreading fiction and nonfiction student materials, ancillaries, and teachers' guides. I have written and edited numerous online language arts activities for elementary students as well, including "Common Core Comprehension: Practice at 3 Levels" for Newmark Learning, which won an award as a top teacher classroom resource. In the past, I hired authors to write fiction and nonfiction leveled readers for the Fountas and Pinnell Classroom program.
