CJTF-OIR is a 77 nation partnership that advises, assists and enables partnered forces until they can independently defeat Daesh in designated areas of Iraq and Syria, in order to set conditions for long-term security cooperation frameworks.Responsible for security and protection of our US and Coalition bases across Iraq and Syria. Surface Warfare Officer (SWO)Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:• Responsible to facilitate the build-out of the Navy Reserve (NR) LCS Enterprise maintenance program.• Responsible for ensuring 1,000 Naval Reserve Sailors are trained and equipped to meet their mission of conducting maintenance aboard ships around the world. • Responsible for the establishment of maintenance policy and oversight of maintenance execution.Key Achievements:• Personally selected by senior leadership, Commodore (O-6) Bell to research and draft the Utilization Instruction, a pivotal document detailing the processes that define the operation of the Navy Reserve LCS within the active duty Navy.• Led the first Naval Reserve Forward Logistics Element (FLE) outside the United State to Singapore.
