As a sign technician at Forest Preserve District of DuPage County, I apply my public administration education and skills to ensure the proper installation, maintenance, and repair of signs and other facilities within the district. I have over six years of experience in this role, and I am responsible for managing special projects, coordinating with contractors and vendors, and complying with safety and environmental standards.In my previous roles, I gained valuable experience in community engagement, volunteer management, and policy analysis. I worked as a corporate volunteer programs coordinator at Chicago Cares, where I planned and executed customized service projects for corporate clients and partners. I also supported the administration of the Forest Preserve District as a maintenance worker, where I performed various tasks such as landscaping, cleaning, and snow removal.
