I worked on Raven's OmniDrive system (https://ravenprecision.com/driverless-ag/omnidrive) for the summer, with the goal of developing an improved path planner. I spent about a month prototyping common path planning methods (RRT and RRT*, Voronoi Diagrams and Delaunay Triangulation to condense field into a sparse yet descriptive set of points, Probabilistic.

I wrote a simulation in Python to simulate flight of an insect-scale, flying robot (see attached link for details on the robot, frequently referred to as the "Robobee") based on its size, weight, and ability to generate forces and torques using its wings. I employed a Linear Quadratic Regulator (LQR) controller to get the robot to traverse its environment.

I spent the summer learning about the mechanical design process for various mounts and devices used in Abiomed's environmentally controlled production area (AKA clean rooms), as well as the ins and outs of Solidworks. By the end of the summer, I had designed a new storage rack to hold products in the clean room as well as a pair of gauge blocks to ensure.

I helped manage the mechanical systems used by the project, which included designing and manufacturing an air filtration system for the engines of the project's motorized kayaks. I also helped manufacture two sets of electronics mounts for motorized kayaks. Another task I worked on was writing and managing behavior files for the project that were run on.

I worked in SEAS' Computational Aero and Hydrodynamics Laboratory on the CHORUS-Magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) flow solver project. My task was to test and analyze the solver across several industry-standard benchmarks including the Alfven Wave test and the Orszag-Tang Vortex test. I then presented my results at SEAS' annual Research and Discovery Showcase. I.

Worked as a counselor at the summer day camp in my hometown. I was responsible for 10 elementary schoolers each day as I guided them through the day's activities. Learned conflict-resolution and one-on-one management skills in one of the hardest group environments to maintain control in.
