In 2023, I reached the milestone of working in higher education for 40 years, more than 30 of which have been in the field of advancement. My work in advancement has included experiences in the areas of corporate relations, foundation relations, trustee committee support, major gifts, volunteer management, campaign management, capital projects, communications, publications, special events, administration and senior management.Specialties: Higher education management; capital campaign management; strategic planning; benchmarking and peer study; marketing and branding; video production; web and social media implementation and practice; high-end events and donor recognition.I take particular pride in learning the distinctive attributes of institutions of higher education and orchestrating highly creative programs that are transformational both in terms of inspiring support for critical needs, as well as in fostering an increased sense of institutional pride and community among all of the institution's key constituents.
