Monitoring Financial Products owned by Santander Totta clients. Client profile analyses regarding new products launched by the bank. It was important to focus on Global Markets, so i always try to be aware of:• New financial products released into the Market• Interest Rates, mainly the “overnight rate” measuring trading within the banking sector• General Market fluctuations and European Laws

My main goal with this investment opportunity was to thrive in a financial planning and investment analysis framework. I always tried hard to guide myself by following some key traits, like being analytical, detail oriented, self motivated and a good communicator towards my six person team. Being a former Head of Treasury in college help me to achieve a good monthly performance, since I used some of the basics learned in the past to build a better and more detailed financial approach, used for the final decision making process.In terms of technical experience gained I shall look backwards through my weekly and monthly financial analysis, accounting consolidation, and investment planning. These weekly and monthly personal reports guide me to support decisions regarding capital spending in an operating budget and long-term investment planning. At the end of the line, these monthly reports were pretty helpful in order to support and justify a good selling price to investors.Questions always pop up to me while I was doing the job, such as how to evaluate the financial performance of the company or how to improve the financial model with a more efficient investment and innovation plan. I gladly found answers to most of my questions, which guide me to build a more confidence financial personality, over the time.Last but not least the Marketing knowledge acquired was a big piece of the whole cake. Partnerships with the University and the Centro Hospitalar Universitário de Coimbra (HUC), gave me the possibility to get to know a lot of different people and get first access to be a part in public events empowering physical activity, as a therapy for the mind and body.

In this job I supported foreigner’s students in their “Exchange Global Internship Program”. I had a team responsible for the whole exchange experience and project efficiency. My main tasks were:• Find suitable projects in town, working with non-profitable organizations and public schools• Find suitable candidates for the role, by point out the most capable candidates from over fifty• Taking care of all the logistics involved, like airport pickups, language basics, places to stayBesides those core responsibilities we also used to organize small conferences and meetings in order to discuss ongoing projects, performances and introduce new ideas to them. It was an amazing multicultural experience where people from all over the globe could discuss several subjects in an open-minded environment.

Assuming the command of the Treasury department for such a big organization as “Tuna da Faculdade de Economia da Universidade de Coimbra”, was an excellent decision. It was the perfect first impact in project management and a way to draw a lot of different strategies, simply because the Institution dealt with dozens of third party organizations, adding more and more every year. The annual cash-flow of the musical group averaged ten thousand euros, earned with live shows and sponsorships from those third party institutions, from Coimbra.Every year our Tuna organizes a three-day event, which costs alone five thousand euros to be running. Is extremely important to create a good strategy in order to ensure that costs maintain a sustainable level over the time. Is mandatory to continuously diversify our partnerships and create a better event in our home town, year after year. In this position I learn how to deliver “Value” to the entire community evolved, tracing a Financial & Marketing plan that prioritized his impact over our partners and fans, that allowed us to exceed all expectations for 2014.

Being a former athlete and having the opportunity to teach an individual sport such as golf, to children between 10 and 18 years old, was extremely grateful for me. Giving access to this younger generation to learn the sport will lead them to develop tools, like focus or etiquette, which will lead them to develop a sense of direction and purpose in life. It will also provide the means for them to pursue their professional ambitions and life dreams in a future, which with both talent and sacrifice can become a reality.
