I led 6 Revenue generating business units accounting for 35% of the division’s revenue base, as well as oversight of 9 strategic service departments (Finance, Strategy, Production Management, Human Resources, Administration, Technology, Content Operations, Legal and Research) Some of my greatest accomplishments while in this role:• Directed organization-wide operational frameworks that maximized business lines and drove bottom line profitability to grow Operating Income at 27% CAGR, and increase profit margin from 12% to 30%.• “Over the Top” content distribution deals with global and local distributors in Canada and Latin America, resulting in 30% increase in profit. • Transition of MTV Brazil from a minority held JV, operating as free to air TV channel with 300+ staff, to more profitable wholly-owned and operated pay TV channel with 40+ dedicated staff. • Relaunch of U.S. Hispanic channel, Tr3s – transformed brand position, distribution profile and organization structure that took channel from operating at a loss, to 40%+ profit margin. • Regionalization and restructure of division’s operations, relocating 170 positions from Miami and Mexico to Argentina – resulted in improved operational performance that increased profits by $3M. -
