Responsible for managing and overseeing Amtrak’s physical assets at Amtrak's largest stations and to provide management oversight of Major Station Facility Managers with the intent to improve Amtrak's core business through enhancing the customer experience and providing a safe, clean and comfortable working experience for Amtrak staff.

The train station is the first and last experience that our passengers have with their travel. It is crucial that they can figure out how to navigate the station as easily as possible, that their comfort is maintained and that retail offers them conveniences without overwhelming and confusing them. Commuters have a different set of needs and expectations than occasional passengers and the building must work for both types of passengers. Unfortunately, because of the unique history of Penn Station, it meets almost none of these goals and is universally reviled by everyone who uses it. Working together with the state and city, we have an opportunity to revolutionize the station and improve the experience for over a half million people a day that pass through the station.• Responsible for maintenance and capital investment of all facilities at Penn Station New York and the New York Division. • Directed capital and maintenance budgets for both maintenance and upgrades of facilities in New York Division. • Implemented policies which resulted in a 38% reduction in routinely scheduled OT with a corresponding savings in labor costs. • Reduced energy costs by designing and building a new heating plant for station which reduced steam use by 28%. • Reduced energy costs and improved employee safety by installing LED lighting in station interlocking and service areas including service tunnels, loading dock and other back of house spaces.

Directed all maintenance activities for building infrastructure of busiest passenger rail station in North America. Shaped workforce and directed capital investments intended to reduce maintenance costs.
