Scott Hubble is the founder of Awaken RV as well as the former CEO and co-founder of nuCamp, the world’s largest manufacturer of the teardrop camper trailers. Scott was first introduced to the recreational vehicle space while serving in the marketing industry. After a couple of years consulting, Scott left the boutique firm for which he worked, and made the leap to RV’s as a full-time endeavor.During his time years in the industry, Scott catapulted teardrop trailers back into relevancy after a half a century hibernation. Initially, he led Little Guy Worldwide from a relative unknown to the world's largest distributor of teardrops in the mid-2010's.During that growth, Scott sowed the seeds to put nuCamp on the map and eventually become the undisputed leader in manufacturing ultra-light weight towables. In 2016, he pivoted and helped infuse life back into a tired truck camper market by launching the Cirrus - a forward-thinking, high quality camper focused on infusing modern aesthetics with Amish-made, real wood, cabinetry. Today, nuCamp sits as the 3rd largest producer of truck campers.After leading nuCamp for 15 years, Scott stepped away in the summer of 2024 in order to pursue a new challenge - starting in a new niche from the ground up, for the third time.Proficient in accounting, law and marketing, Scott has a deep appreciation and understanding for process and data. A pragmatic optimist, Scott leads with positivity and helps to set the culture wherever he is at.In addition to a BS in Accounting, Scott holds an MBA and JD from the University of Akron. A life-long learner, Scott has delved into urban studies, public administration, and several years of doctoral studies in servant leadership. Scott lives in the heart of Amish Country in Berlin, OH with his wife and five children.
