As Online Manager I was responsible for developing, implementing, tracking and reporting on the hotel’s yearly online operations strategy to ensure a synchronised online approach across a variety of online media.Responsibilities included: - Coordinating development of hotel website & booking engine including continued improvement in Search Engine Optimisation - Social Networking Strategy including Facebook, Twitter and Foursquare targets and objectives - 3rd party site listing management including online resellers and speciality listings e.g. Hotels.com & wedding sites - Online advertising campaigns including “Pay per Click” and other online advertising - Online benchmarking and performance metrics reporting to senior management - Development of a “Mobile Web App” for the businessAs Project Manager, I led a number of strategic projects across the business including: - Business case development for a number of potential hotel expansions - Developed new capabilities and increased effectiveness of the “Concierge” function of the hotel by implementing a “Concierge Toolkit” - Early (analysing & designing) phases of a new contact management system implementation for the business - Prepared and was part of the team who presented the annual business plan of the hotel to the bank and board of directors.Other duties included being part of the wider management team of the hotel responsible for the day to day running of the business and wider strategic direction. These duties included a number of management responsibilities including managing the Dungeon Restaurant and Bar in the hotel with a team of over 15 employees for a period of 4 months.

Clients included large utility and natural resources companies in Ireland. During this time I developed a deep understanding of the electricity market in Ireland and was recognised as one of the "Subject Matter Experts" in the area.Responsibilities of a Business Analyst included:Working with a project team to analyse a specific area of the client’s business and identifying any potential improvements, designing a strategy based on the analysis, planning and implementing the designed strategy. At all stages in the project stakeholder, team and client management were of paramount importance.
