When I'm not fixing/improving things around the house, I get my zen through gardening. I've been a Green Bay Packers fan since '89 (fun fact: went to the same high school, at the same time, as Aaron Rodgers). End goal: own a hostel in the Caribbean OR a hot springs resort to spend the rest of my days. I have been Director of Relationships & Marketing at Crowdfund Better since 2016. In this position, I manage relationships with colleagues, oversee the marketing strategies & implementation of Crowdfund Better (and our partnerships) and provide marketing guidance to clients in identifying effective strategies for their campaigns. I enjoy applying my experience through hands-on training to make a positive contribution with the most overwhelmed business owners out there - entrepreneurs, owner-operators and main street small business owners.In my pursuit of the "perfect job" I began working among the startup community in 2014 in the marketing sector, specifically focused on main street small business owners. I have guided them to better service their customers using online digital tools and learn effective marketing practices. I've gained an appreciation for how I can contribute to individuals and my local community (and economy for that matter) all while maintaining my personal focus on community engagement and sustainability. I'm interested in working with community-focused organizations that demonstrate corporate responsibility and have an interest in improving the community where they are based (or are pursuing a triple-bottom-line).
