This team directed the architecture and hardware procurement for the SAP landscapes for Walmart, planned and implemented technical upgrades, ensured operational stability, prepared systems for project development and delivery, and researched and ran POCs for new SAP products and functionality for use in the Walmart environment. For the associates, I composed and administered performance reviews, assisted with career planning, participated in the interview process for new hires, and facilitated re-assignment or dismissal for associates who were under-performing. I negotiated our offshore support contracts and partnered with the vendor to develop a service catalog to help quantify the work being performed under those contracts. I participated in the development of staffing models to determine the correct number of onsite consultants needed to service upcoming project plans. I collaborated with project leads to ensure proper Basis support of their project life cycles and go-live efforts. I led efforts to streamline work intake processes for the Basis team. I proactively led efforts to improve system performance and promote best practices.
