Supporting DSCO and Director Materiel Policy and Procedures in implementing DND's S1000D policy framework for the technical publications required for operating and supporting DND/CAF equipment. This includes supporting the implementation of S1000D for various Navy, Air Force, and Army projects. Broke manuals down into smaller independent units of information in a way that aligns with the navy's digital transformation objectives and maximizes usability and accessibility of technical content.Training: Led more than 100 technical editing, agile, Captain's Ship's Books, and S1000D training sessions for publications team members since the beginning of 2021, contributing to building up a junior 6 member team into a more established 15 member team.Agile: Recognized as our company's Agile Champion of the Month for July 2021. PMI Agile Certified Practitioner since November 2021. Appointed as Alternate Company Security Officer in May 2022, a role ensuring our company meets the security requirements of federal government contracts.Occupational Health & Safety: Mental Health First Aid trained (May 2022). Fire warden for Irving's Bluenose Building in Dartmouth since March 2021. St. John Ambulance First Aid trained (March 2023).
