Responsible for the commercial performance of AEP Renewables utility scale wind, solar and storage investments across the United States with total generation capacity of 2.2GW.Led asset management team in managing commercial/financial performance, partnership management, project finance and tax equity finance compliance.Led operations organization in performance of maintenance activities, performance monitoring, warranty management and capital investment decisions to enhance the performance and/or reliability of facilities.

• Responsible for managing, monitoring and coordinating all commercial and compliance aspects of 1.3 GW wind portfolio to meet requirements of PPA, GIA, partner, lender and tax equity investors.• Actively engaged asset management and operations counterparts at partner operated facilities to influence capital projects, proactive O&M cost mitigation strategies, budget reduction, congestion hedging and environmental strategies.• Proactively monitor project performance, analyze impact of financial, operational and external events on an asset’s financial performance and propose solutions relating to the project.• Responsible for preparation of all long-term O&M budget forecasts for new development projects as well as acquisition targets

•Oversaw the SEC reporting activities and provided supervision to the financial reporting team in the preparation of the quarterly (10-Q) and annual (10-K) SEC filings•Review documentation and draft disclosures, including footnotes and Management’s Discussion and Analysis (MD&A) appearing in the quarterly (10-Q) and annual (10-K) SEC filings•Apply professional judgment in applying U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations in the review of other disclosure schedules and analyses•Evaluate financial reporting information needs and coordinate the preparation or receipt of such information from business units and subject matter experts•Research and make recommendations to management of new and existing disclosure requirements to ensure adherence with U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations•Analyze disclosures of peer companies to evaluate industry trends and disclosures and make recommendations to management•Manage the accounting and controls related to derivatives and hedging, including reviewing business unit and treasury inventories, documenting derivative and hedge positions, reviewing accounting entries, reconciling valuation reports and conducting hedge testing
