Responsible for accurately processing Inpatient, Outpatient and Emergency Department, and verifying outpatient scripts accordingly.Inputs patient registration data into computer system, while verifying patient demographics and insurance. Appropriately interviews patients, obtaining the necessary information.Registrations in accordance with regulatory and financial requirements. Strong knowledge of the insurance verification and registration process required, as well as medical terminology. Maintains ability to quickly assess and respond appropriately to emergency situations. Detailed and quality oriented with strong problem solving and the judgment to interpret data and take appropriate action in circumstances and situations which vary. Complies with all job functions within the required time frames. Excellent customer service and communication skills.
