I was responsible for developing design and planning principles used across Waitrose when planning and designing branches. Supported and developed a due diligence process involving multiple stakeholders to ensure that all equipment going into branches was safe and fit for purpose. Completed regular branch reviews to ensure that delivered design and planning standards were fit for purpose. Supported stakeholders across the Partnership with the Store Development process and equipment development requirements to ensure their equipment was fit for purpose.

Bracknell

This role involved developing and delivering design schemes to the Waitrose estate (350 branches). Schemes were varied but included Sushi Bars, new payment initiatives, front of store initiatives and whole branch refurbishments. The role involved managing suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure that schemes were delivered on time and in budget with the approval of the Partnership.

The role involved managing the delivery of business wide projects into the Tesco estate. Projects ranged from construction and delivery of phone shops to direct to store deliveries for smaller pieces of equipment. My role involved managing budgets, receipting and raising purchase orders, managing suppliers and programmes to ensure that projects are delivered on time and in budget. Overall I delivered over 100 projects to 18,000 stores.

This role involved designing and implementing equipment and signage into the Tesco estate ensuring it is safe and appropriate for use. Detailed internal and external stakeholder management were required to ensure that initiatives landed positively in stores.

The role involved overseeing implementation and design of a roll out scheme of 110 stores, supporting the design team to deliver smaller formats, on time and in budget.

Create and design new pieces of 3D kit and artwork for Tesco stores. Interpret new initiatives and briefs from commercial categories and put them into practice in Tesco stores by managing suppliers and major stake holders within the business.

Worked closely with customers to provide a comprehensive service serving both drinks and food. Handled large amounts of money along with providing a high standard of customer service. This job helped me to understand the importance of happy customers and speed of service to ensure targets were hit within the pub.
