During my tenure, I was responsible for a range of content-facing teams and projects covering group editorial, content and rights strategy, programme acquisitions, production and channel development / management. My main achievements included:Developing a group content investment strategy to enable FNG to own scripted drama series globally, pitching to the FNG board in 2009 and manging its rollout, budget and later iterations in over 120 markets over the following eight years.Being lead buyer for all of FNG's global and regional series, closing bespoke deals to bring marquee series such as THE WALKING DEAD, LEGION, DEXTER and ATLANTA to the group.Running commercial affairs on global series, dealing with distributors, producers, originating networks and participants in connection with exploitation of series. Closed content deals with third parties including Netflix, Amazon and Canal+ and distribution agreements with Warner Bros, E1 and Discovery to maximise incremental revenues to the group.Launching over 25 new entertainment channels worldwide - defining content strategy, title selection, managing programming budgets and buying teams prior, through and post-launch.Having commercial oversight on all of FNG's negotiations with US Studios in EMEA, ensuring the company's strategic, editorial and commercial priorities were balanced and consistently met in what were some of the group's biggest investments.Selecting and acquiring groundbreaking scripted dramas for FNG's UK channel (FX - now Fox), including premiere window deals in the UK on BREAKING BAD, TRUE BLOOD, THE WIRE and NCIS.Building a minimum rights policy to ensure FNG's commercial competitiveness in an increasingly volatile rights environment. As TV Acquisitions Manager my duties included selecting, acquiring and scheduling television content across a range of genres for clients such as British Airways, Emirates Airlines and Air Canada. I also led new business pitches for the agency and won the Cathay Pacific account during my tenure.

Yes Television was the consumer brand name of a pioneering VOD platform owned by Elmsdale Media, which operated on-demand services in the UK, Australia and Hong Kong. My role covered acquisitions, content partnerships and service development, in particular launching and curating branded environments on the platform with partners including the BBC, Disney and Nickelodeon.
