Senior Technical ArchitectLaing O'Rourke Jun 2007 - Aug 2007Due to my skills in enterprise deployment, messaging and Active Directory, I was brought into a project which was in a stalled state. Due to poor planning and incorrectly skilled resources, the project was past pilot without any fixed processes. The project was the consolidation of three domains into a single environment and involved collapsing one forest, one child domain, consolidating the messaging environment and identity control without major impact on daily operations. Within four weeks, the project was no longer stalled due to my implementation of migration strategies, automated auditing strategies and creation of all necessary tools for the successful migration of sites. In addition, by this point I had gained the trust of the client, as well as the trust of the team which I was sent to lead. By the end of my contract, the project had met all milestones, achieved all targets and the project was deemed successful. -

In 1999, I was promoted to Support Manager. My responsibilities in this position included organisation of staff members and co-ordination of support jobs. Since then, I have been the lead engineer on all major IT deployments. This role has not only exposed me to the management environment, but due to the nature of this business, I have had extensive experience in the majority of older and currently available networking technologies and products.
