Along with the Grand Hyatt, I took over the the IT responsibilities for the Andaz along with my team. I also became the Regional lead and project manager that provides consultative advice for all San Diego County Hyatt hotels. Worked in a matrix environment managing multiple stakeholders. The technology goals were different at each hotel due to different ownership companies and brand standards. There are currently 5 hotels encompassing all Hyatt brands providing a unique opportunity to work within different segments of hospitality IT.

I was the Director of Information Technology at largest hotel in Southern California. I was responsible for all aspects of Enterprise IT operations including overseeing all large projects, planning, coordinating, budgeting, implementation, staff management and all future planning for the largest hotel in California(Grand Hyatt San Diego, 1628 rooms) and the second largest Hyatt in the world. The annual revenues of the hotel exceeded $140 million annually. Filled the role of Internal Consultant that controlled the sourcing, procurement, delivery, and compliance functions to deliver the infrastructure components to the point of demand from vendors such as Dell, HP, Sharp, Verizon, AT&T, and SwissCom. Annual budget of $300 thousand focused solely on Information Technology.

I started Seven Seas International during an unprecedented boom in the global real estate market. For almost 2 years we expanded and grew the business into a fantastic operation. The global crunch of credit availability made it very difficult to continue though our customer base did not stop. I have been involved in real estate for a long time and am still deeply involved in the current market both locally and internationally.
