I returned to Unicredit Bank's Finance Division - Performance, Capital & Shareholding Mgmt Directorate, after a three-year stay at Halkbank.While my job description remains relatively similar, my primary responsibilities now center on planning and managerial reporting:• Preparation of monthly managerial data and segment report (Tagetik and off-line reporting); • Regular monitoring and analysis of the results on profit centers, products, clients and segments level; • Participation in CIMIS data quality improvement;• Participation in the all planning processes (MYP, Budget, Forecast);• Investigating variances and trends of actual financial data versus previous years or forecasts and budgets;• Responsible for development of new reco tools or improvement existing ones for Group segment and managerial reporting via CCH Tagetik ETL upload; • Overseeing the production, analysis, and reporting of Daily P&L for Markets, Treasury and ALM business lines and coordinating efforts with an external vendor to ensure the accuracy and improvement of the report.

After two years of working at UniCredit Bank Serbia I have come to work at Halkbank a.d. Belgrade, relatively new on the Serbian banking market, one of the largest banks in the Turkish banking market, a leader in SME banking in Turkey. I became member of Financial Management and Budgeting Department, which has main focus on providing useful and critical information for decision makers that allow the business to do better and to perform smarter and more efficient. Main responsibilities:• Participation in the all planning processes in the Bank (Strategy/Budget/Forecasts);• Preparation of financials with supporting KPIs and explanations for the purposes of weekly/monthly top management’s meetings; • Monitoring of Branch network performance, providing monthly P&L, quarterly categorization as well as ad hoc reports and analysis; • Cost controlling, recommendations for further optimization measures;• Preparation of various cost-benefit analysis to support functional decision making; • Drawing up quarterly Operating report; • Banking sector analysis (banking sector trends, market positioning and competition benchmarking);• Participation in DWH implementation project (data marts design phase);• Improvement and automation of the existing reports and development of the new ones in cooperation with BI department.

My professional career started at UniCredit Bank Serbia, one of the largest banks in Serbia with strong support of the UniCredit Group. I have worked in Cost Managment Unit, which is the unit responsible to contain the costs in the framework given by the yearly budgets and respective policies. The unit is also responsible to enable and to drive initiatives that improve the cost structure of both UniCredit Bank Serbia and UniCredit Leasing Serbia. It was dynamic, valuable and demanding experience. Working in a small team give me wider exposure to job functions because each member tends to wear more than one hat. Therefore, I needed to step out of my comfort zone and learn skills I have never been comfortable doing before. Main responsibilities that I had were to:• ­Participate in Forecast/Budget/MYP processes in domain of non-HR costs and investments (with special emphasis on the impact of depreciation);• Monthly analysis of all cost categories within non-HR costs and investments in comparison to budget, forecast and previous year;• Act as a key point of contact for various departments throughout the bank regarding costs/investments information;• Prepare various monthly/quarterly/yearly reports and ad hoc reports for CMT Node/Managment Board/ Supervisory Board meetings;• Assist in coordination of weekly Cost Managment Node meeting, working body of Managment Board. (providing support to initiatiors in preparing of request for CMT Node approval, analyzing submitted material, organizing of meeting, preparing meeting agenda, writing meeting minutes, etc.);• Business case evaluation for various activities / projects (new branch/branch relocation, loan campaign, marketing campaign, software enhancement / implementation, etc.);• Assist in Group reporting regarding costs and investments;• Monitoring and reporting about business trips in so called No Travel Week;• Continued development and improvement of reporting/planning tools, dashboards, etc.
