Throughout my time at University of Massachusetts Amherst, I have shown passion about leveraging my technical skills to drive innovative solutions. My programming proficiency spans a range of languages, including Java, JavaScript, SQL, Python, and C, and I am adept at using tools such as PostgreSQL and JUnit-Testing to ensure code quality and reliability. As a current junior, I am currently delving into various applications of Computer Science with coursework including, Artificial Intelligence, Secure Distributed Systems, Search Engines, Digital Forensics, and Web Programming. With a GPA of 3.55 and a solid foundation in courses such as Data Structures and Algorithms, I am eager to apply my knowledge and explore the applications of Computer Science in a real-world context!During my time as a Starbucks barista, I honed my teamwork, and customer service skills by efficiently managing end-to-end order processes, collaborating with colleagues to minimize wait times, and maintaining the highest cafe standards to enhance the overall customer experience. Experimenting with different syrups, coffee roasts, toppings, and milks made every day refreshing and enriching (try a brown sugar shaken espresso with half chai and half brown sugar syrup!). Most importantly, developing connections with customers and coworkers made my experience the most memorable it could be!I have also embarked on exciting software projects, such as developing a bubble tea barista simulator during a hackathon, where I implemented an interactive user interface and designed appealing graphics to create an engaging user experience with three other individuals. Pitching our project to judges and brainstorming ideas with my teammates were some of my favorite parts!Currently, I am seeking an internship in software engineering to further develop my skills, contribute to innovative projects, and grow as a professional in the dynamic field of computer science.
