The Davis Applied Technology College or DATC changed its name to Davis Technical College or Davis Tech. This position allows me to assist employers in developing and implementing private training through Davis Tech. I work with companies seeking to invest in their employees and maximize their talent, not only for the benefit of the company, but for the benefit of the employees on a personal level. I can help adapt an existing program or develop a new one to fit the company's need. I assist with consulting, training audit/needs assessment, design and development, and implementation and evaluation. Training is currently offered (but not limited to) the areas of: Trades and Manufacturing, Leadership and Ethics, Information Technology, Business, and Healthcare.

Goals: Train students for employment in specific career fields and assist graduates find jobs. Assist employers find qualified job candidates (at no charge). Plan and implement a quarterly graduation ceremony. Teach a professional development class to prepare students for employment.Job Description:• Advising and assisting graduates in obtaining job interviews and ultimately jobs in their related field of study. • Conducting exit interviews with graduates. • Developing and maintaining employer sources for the placement of students in part-time positions while attending school and for future program placements.• Conducting job market surveys to determine the continuing compatibility of the school’s training with the needs and objectives of employers. • Recommending to the Campus Director and management changes in curricula to meet the needs and objectives of employers. • Preparing and maintaining required records and reports using CampusVue to determine the effectiveness of the placement activities and recommend corrective action when required. • Conducting periodic and required follow-up analysis to determine the job success of graduates and employers’ satisfaction with the quality of training. • Assisting and participating in the public relations activities of the school. • Participating in the development and implementation of the school’s and management operating procedures to assure compliance with the rules and guidelines of government and accreditation bodies/organizations. • Planning, coordinating and supervising quarterly graduation ceremonies. • Participation in quarterly new student orientation. • Participation in Advisory Board meetings. • Update all databases, including state database, with necessary placement information.• Provide placement data for accreditation, licensing and annual admissions reports and provide documentation to all departments.

Partnership (General Manager and Director of Sales) managing a limited service hotel (105 rooms and 2 conference rooms) for nearly 15 years.

Planned and implimented the finishing processes of parts (mainly Boeing Aircraft) using required specifications.
