A researcher, entrepreneur, educator and strategic leader with vast experience in international business, trade, investments, finance and economics. As a researcher, Navarro has completed analytic reports and delivered presentations for leading organizations, universities and research centers such as the APEC Business Advisory Council (ABAC), the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Forum (APEC), the Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada, among others. He has presented his analyses and strategic recommendations to business leaders and senior officials and has shared the stage alongside distinguished experts and leaders in different forums in Australia, Japan, Chile, the USA, Canada and México. As an educator, Navarro has served as an associate faculty member at business schools for over 15 years including Royal Roads University since 2017 and he has promoted international education agreements. As a business leader, Navarro has organized and led successfully trade missions, conferences and high-profile initiatives.Navarro is a recognized Business Mentor at Futurpreneur Canada, an active community builder in business and non-for profit organizations, a member of the Canadian International Council (CIC), the Forum for International Trade Training (FITT), the Vancouver Island Economic Alliance (VIEA), among other business organizations. He worked for 10 years as an economist at the Mexican Central Bank. He is the founder of international initiatives such as the Canada-México Business Week and the Canada-México Dialogue Conference. Navarro has been recognized by his contribution assessing entrepreneurial projects as a Member of the panel of Experts by the World Bank Institute. He is the recipient of the Founders' Award by Royal Roads University and he has been chosen to be one of the Top 75 Finalists for the RBC Top 25 Canadian Immigrant Awards for his contribution to Canada.
