Leading a team of Senior Software Engineers building a diverse product suite. Everything from the SoFi Dating app supporting services to new loan products.

I lead the Portal Services Team at Usana, which provides Marketing and Business building products for it's distributor sales force. In addition to standard architectural responsibilities, I've also been in charge of providing user interface direction for this suite of online tools.

Appointed by the CIO to lead a team of 20 IT members in brainstorming, coordinating and implementing new strategies to increase innovation within the company. This is part of an effort to make our IT team billion dollar capable while enhancing the culture and productivity experienced by each team member.

As a partner at GeekAtPlay, my duties have been numbered and many. I basically do whatever needs doing. Marketing, tutorial creation, editing and voice-over, business administration, customer care and application development.

Disney Interactive Studios hired me to work on their Connected Gaming Team developing Nintendo DS and DSi games. My initial responsibilities include assisting 3rd party and in-house development teams with the integration of the DGamer product. This product could be roughly compared to Xbox Live but for the DS & DSi platform. Added to my responsibilities have been debugging existing code, client side and server side, creating mini-games to be shipped with DGamer and constructing a middle-ware social media platform enabling Disney titles to easily connect to popular social media APIs on the Xbox, Play Station 3, Nintendo Wii and many other hand-held platforms. While at Disney, I’ve been able to add C/C++ and C# to my tool belt. I’ve also expanded my knowledge of J2EE and assisted the Disney Online group with many of their efforts by participating in global infrastructure rollouts and product integration. I was hired to be the lead designer on high-profile Web Apps for Fortune 500 companies. Responsibilities included Web design, Flash multimedia, business strategy and Web development implementations including, but not limited to, J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, Soa4j and Web Service technologies.My current position as User Interface Architect, keeps me busy implementing JSTL components, conducting code-reviews, putting out fires and encouraging "best-practices" and coding standards among the other developers.As UI Architect I have had the opportunity to work with various MVC frameworks including Spring MVC, Apache Ofbiz's MVC, Soa4j, and OpenLaszlo.Among other projects that I have worked on while at iCentris you will find development and deployment of the Consultant Locator, Shipment Tracker, eCards, eMail, Address Book, Calendar, Lead Collector & CRM tools, Templated Web Pages and Help System product modules.

Designed and developed systems for facilitating the setup of conference calls and then podcasting those calls upon call completion. Technologies used included Open Laszlo, MS SQL Server, VB.net, and Cold Fusion.

FamilyParade.com was a service similar to Facebook or MySpace, and our only major competition at the time was MyFamily.com.

I was hired in an effort to expand the scope of Merrell Remingtons' advertising capabilities to the World Wide Web. My position required me to maintain Merrell Remingtons' Web Site while continuing to build apps for its other clients. An emphasis was placed on tracking Web marketing statistics. I also developed multimedia CD-ROMs for Merrell Remington. Key technologies employed were Active Server Pages, MS SQLServer, MS Access, ADO, ODBC, Macromedia Authorware and Macromedia Flash.

My duties included management and coordination of special projects, marketing campaigns, online commerce, and direction of the SISNA® Creative Team. Added to these responsibilities were ASP development and trouble shooting for the SISNA® E-commerce product and other web-based applications developed by SISNA®.
