Training, Employee Development- Branch Manager
Current•Manages the NCUA new examiner training program to include ten technical training courses, ensuring learning objectives meet job competency components.•Supervises, plans, coordinates, and evaluates examiner training to include strategic planning, design efforts, and delivery of curriculum for NCUA.•Establishes internal control systems to reduce risks and manages financial and material resources in order to meet annual strategic plans. •Responsible for alignment of training branch structured processes and internal controls to ensure accountability, consistency, and adherence to agency policy and practices.•Responsible for oversight of agency curriculum accreditation program, including over 50 NCUA courses and accompanied annual auditing process.•Supervises the agency's National Training Specialists and support staff, providing leadership and counseling to enhance performance. •Manages the agency's Principal Examiner certification program including test oversight and administration. •Accountable for the agency’s national training center to include oversight of facility maintenance and classroom space scheduling. •Reinforces an organizational culture committed to recruiting a high quality and diverse workforce while maintaining a high level of employee satisfaction.•Takes proactive steps to diversify the workforce and to create an inclusive work environment that allows employees to contribute to their fullest potential.•As a Contracting Officer Representative, initiates and manages multiple service contracts related to communication services, accounting, problem resolution, and agency testing programs.•Manages $2Million budget to include regulation and maintenance of more than 10 consulting contracts.•Actively delivers soft skills training to agency personnel to include Franklin Covey suite training. •Acts in the absence of the Division Director, by providing leadership, direction, and coordination over the daily activities and projects of the division.
