Utfors was one of the first Ethernet-IP-only operators in the world. Utfors build a large 7500km fibre optic network across Nordic and started offering high capacity dataservices in 2000. I was recruited by the CEO of Utfors Jan Werne to establish and manage the Norwegian operation and to be member of the Nordic management team. I was responsible for business planning, market strategy, hiring process and daily operation. Speaker at seminars and active in media and participant in local interest groups. Contact with authorities and the regulator. Utfors was acquired by Telenor, the dominating and prior monopoly operations in Norway, in December 2002 and changed name to Telenor AB. Utfors AS was integrated with Telenor, January 1, 2005. The companies services will be sold under the Telenor brand in the future.
