Features including such topics as Power Efficiency, advanced antenna systems and multi-user MIMO.Development of algorithms, system and link level simulators primarily developed in Java, C++, and Matlab.

Started at the WCDMA baseband ASIC department with DSP algorithm development (TI DSP), embedded real-time programming and HW near control code. Continued with L1 SW development in what later grew into the WCDMA L1 SW department.Worked with the first WCDMA platform from the earliest design and prototyping, to product. Thus, involved in all parts of the development process, from early system design of WCDMA for the 1:st generation of Ericsson platform architecture, feasibility and pre-studies, through implementation, test, debugging, error correction, customer support and operator testing. Close cooperation with ASIC, Research and Simulation departments.Extensive lab work with FPGAs, various test instruments, signal generators, logic analyzers, TX testers etc.Development mainly using: • TI DSP ASM • C • Matlab • Scripting (mainly perl) • OSE • ClearCase.
