• Hired to the dual role of SCADA Network & Systems Engineer and Manager of IT support team.• Facilitate daily operations of the SCADA network, including managing user accounts and network connections to remote customer sites• Build new VM environment using Windows Server 2022 Terminal Services to improve Security and stability of SCADA environment and replace existing Windows 10 virtual environment.• Reviewed performance of team while providing mentorship to support team development and to develop core IT and customer service skills.

• Managed LAN and WAN connectivity for 75+ sites in 6 states including: TX, AR, OK, MS, NM, TN, and LA.• Worked with vendors to secure services and support for sites within the Delek US Holdings corporate network including Telco’s and Cloud vendors such as Azure, Cisco, and AT&T.• Was brought in to OT(SCADA) environment to assist OT Manager with IP based network. Provided support and training after familiarizing myself with the environment and building updated documentation.• Integrated business and production networks while maintaining security and stability for both.• Led major project to replace aging Juniper and Cisco switches with new Cisco devices so that downtime to the facilities was minimized while maintaining a safe working environment.• Acted as SMC for OT Manager on project to replace aging Cisco switches with new Hirschmann Barracuda switches on Fiber ring at the Tyler Refinery. Configured new switches in lab environment for fiber ring and provided demonstrations to show that fiber breaks at anyone point would not produce an outage. Design was dual fiber ring(Red Ring/Blue Ring), during demonstrations I was able to break one fiber link on each ring and maintain connectivity to all devices.• Mentored and trained junior network engineers to improve skills related to environment.

Manage WAN providing internet access to 19 districts in Texas and 12 remote sites over MPLS network utilizing AT&T Opteman and Gigaman circuits serving a total of 3Gbps of internet bandwidth to customers using Cisco equipment. Designed, configured, and deployed redesigned LAN for central facility to provide enhanced connectivity and optimal user experience as well as a new Wireless network utilizing a Cisco Wireless LAN Controller and Cisco access points. Responsible for configuring and deploying Windows and VMware servers. Worked extensively with CTO on budget as well as designing offerings for the school districts. Performed duties of Project Manager for several projects including Virtualizations of servers, DataCenter Migration, Server OS Upgrade to MS Windows Server 2008 and installation of Exchange 2010. Updated policies and procedures, and built comprehensive documentation of network infrastructure. Reviewed daily activities and created reports for management from various security devices.

Project lead for $1.98 million LAN fiber project consisting of a Fiber ring with fully redundant connectivity for major nodes and High Availability in production areas for the connectivity of SCADA devices. Was also site lead for WAN project to move connectivity to MPLS WAN for 14 sites including redundant connections from both AT&T and Verizon.

Project Lead for Install and deployment of Cisco MARS and Cisco Clean Access. Design, deploy and manage IDS system using open source utilities. Develop open source solution to perform routine vulnerability assessments of network devices. Monitor and document security events associated with all connected systems. Perform standard security assessments and manage user account security to improve security stance.
