JSP hails from Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. With a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering and a Masters Degree in Structural Engineering, he has a wide range of experience in the civil and structural industry involving Design of Industrial, Residential and Institutional Buildings. Starting out as a lecturer, experience has been acquired in different facets of his profession.Since entering the EPC industry in 2007, JSP has a proven understanding of requirements and determining operational goals. JSP constantly endeavours to improve current working methods, quality and productivity. He constantly focusses efforts to reduce mundane actions by developing spreadsheet tools enhanced with VBA. This is aided by sharp analytical skills enabling development of information with ease using the skills of a seasoned technocrat. Well honed reasoning skills also allow him to easily pick up and understand industry nuances and jargon that allow him to communicate at all levels with clients. Key areas of expertise are in engineering services required for successful tendering, quantity estimation and negotiation in an EPC environment focussed on Bulk Material Handling for power plants, mines and petro chemical industries. His interests besides developing applications include singing in the choir, travelling and meeting people.He also enjoys spending time with his family and inculcating a keen interest in trains, music and electrical and electronics experiments in his sons.
