As an Operations Specialist I was a key part in both the planning and delivery aspects of worksite possessions, isolation and project operational requirements, ensuring compliance with the Network Rail Life Saving Rules.Our team provided support to the Infrastructure Projects Southern delivery teams (Anglia, Wessex and South East) with regards to all aspects of Engineering Access planning. We offer guidance on Possession, Isolation, worksite and haulage planning and the safe and efficient delivery of projects in the Railway environment.Specifically, I supported the interface between Infrastructure Projects Southern and the Route teams, particularly Network Operations, to develop relationships with regards to our project delivery.I also worked on the development of the Infrastructure Projects Southern Integrated Access and Critical Resource plan, readiness process (including DWWP) and weekend reporting.

I was the first on-site responder and Network Rail representative to incidents and accidents that happen in the Healey Mills area. I attended and rectified infrastructure failures, inspected bridges and attended other high profile events.
