Duties and responsibilities included Six Sigma program administration at the DEC Aguadilla manufacturing facility: training, coaching and counseling at all levels and functions and Six Sigma courses coordination and training. Ongoing responsibilities included planning, design, development, and delivery of highly technical software/hardware and/or management training and development programs including evaluating courses segments ensuring they meet business needs in area of responsibility including enhancing programs and providing alternatives when required. Additional responsibilities included advising management on capital equipment, materials and human resources needed for developing complex technical documentation and courseware in support of manufacturing and maintaining technical and cross-functional educational expertise in areas of responsibilities, i.e.: analog electronics, digital electronics, software such as RSX/11M, RSTS, RT/11, VAX VMS, and Ultrix, process control methodologies, statistical process control (SPC), Just in time (JIT), and Total Quality Control (TQC) methodologies.

Aguadilla Manufacturing Plant

Occupied the positions of Maintenance Service Technician I to III. During that period my duties were: system management of the Test Equipment Maintenance Dept. computer systems (PDP-11/60s', PDP-11/34s' & PDP-8s'), maintenance of manufacturing test equipment ranging from dedicated board tester to complex computer systems and the training of junior maintenance techs. Additional responsibilities included supporting the engineering department performing the temporary role of product/software engineer for various products and the Training Center Department as instructor for several products.
