Doctoral Researcher (PhD) specializing in Bioscience Engineering at Ghent University (Ghent, Belgium) with active research interest in sustainability and resource recovery from food-grade industrial effluents. I planned and successfully executed research programs of 4 different Work Packages in 2 multi-partner European projects : ALG-AD and Nutri2Cycle. Academically, a Master graduate at Wetsus Academy (Leeuwarden, The Netherlands) in Water Technology and Bachelor graduate at IIT Kharagpur (India) in Biochemical Engineering.Throughout my life, I inculcated deep appreciation of both science and engineering and have worked towards obtaining a deeper understanding of the principles underpinning environmental and water technologies. Previously, I worked at Brightwork BV (Sneek) as a Junior process engineer after finishing my MSc study. I also worked part-time at Center of Expertise Water Technology (CEW, Leeuwarden) as a Junior researcher for early acquaintance with the European working environment.
