Oversees operation of the main scoring systems,Performs routine maintenance on scoring stand laptops and equipment.Works with Scoring Technician III to develop a standard operating procedure (SOP) for the scoring and NOS systems.Communicates with other Scoring System Technician I, II, and IIIs to ensure SOP is followed.Takes necessary steps to ensure all equipment under their control is properly configured and working prior to the start of each event.Operates the scoring systems to ensure accurate information is provided to the end users.Installs, configures, and troubleshoots TCP/IP networks using varied modalities (fiber, copper, wireless).Monitors the scoring systems during testing, practice sessions, qualifying, and races to ensure their proper operation.Monitors, diagnoses and troubleshoots connectivity between NASCAR Technology Center (NTC) and Race Control, Scoring Stand, and nearby media locations (TV/Radio booths, press box, etc.).Creates and provides detailed scoring reports during and after each session.Ensures all equipment is properly disassembled and packed after each race and transported to the next location.Keeps detailed and accurate records of situations, problems, repair items, etc. and routes to the appropriate level or person to be handled and archived. Must follow-up on submittals to ensure action is taken.Communicates and transfers information via each email, Internet and/or File Transfer Protocol (FTP) on a regular basis.Monitors main and backup scoring systems simultaneously to ensure all systems are in sync.Repairs cables (Ethernet, coax) and other related equipment as needed.Communicates with Technician I and III to troubleshoot and resolve issues.Maintains accurate inventory of equipment distributed at an event and ensures that all equipment is collected at the conclusion of the event.Diligently monitors multiple systems, maintains radio communication,REDCROSS Ensures the development of Disaster Leadership Volunteers in each of the program support functional areas of the disaster cycle in order to meet the needs of the territory, region, state and division.
