I love growth and change - not for their own sake, but so people can experience compelling impact and fulfillment. This isn't a job for me - it's what life is about.My academic focus centers on the gap between our stated vision and daily-lived action (undergrad, graduate and ongoing). Engaging this dynamic demands courage and connectedness, but for leaders, teams and organizations who dare to do so - powerful new perspectives and potential open up. It thrills me to get to equip others to confront these gaps.Working in startup environments underscored the power of simplifying clarity. Without it, competing priorities can leave us trying to “boil the ocean” instead of taking aligned, compounding action. A bold sense of focus equips us to navigate seas of data so - instead of drowning in them - we can explore with compelling effectiveness.Building engaging learning ecosystems - for high schoolers, college students, young adults and organizational leaders - highlights the connection between inner growth and outward contribution. Maximizing our potential requires identifying and living-out our deepest values. But we must go further. It also means wrestling with our own blindspots and fears.
