Accounting Manager – California Region & Construction Accounting July 2002 – Sept 2005Managed the California region of the Property Accounting Group, with over 110 properties in the region and 220 property locations nationwide, developed and handled process improvements, departmental clean-ups and the 12/31 and 6/30 year end audits for all properties and 65 developmental properties. Accomplishments:• Pulled together two separate groups of accountants into one strong team to improve morale, productivity and to handle the extensive conversion issues completed in December 2002.• Successfully completed the 12/31/02 audit for over 100 properties, while facing conversion challenges, and improved the 6/30 audit cycle for over 86 properties as well as the year-end Corporate audit by developing a new entity database that linked the Corporate roll-up.
