I was contracted to build animations, rich media and perform digital illustrations.

My role involves making Oracle ADF applications look good from a design, UX, UI and templating perspective. I am also required to wireframe applications to more accurately represent business requirements in terms of software user interfaces, and provide insight into design standards and guidelines. To promote better understanding and communication between various stakeholders I assist Analysts in creating these static wireframes as well as interactive prototypes to describe application flow. Due to the component based nature of the ADF framework, regular design approaches do not work, so I've needed to utilize tools like GruntJS, NodeJS, SASS and among other things to speed up delivery and maintenance of ADF skins.

I work as a sub contractor to Falcorp Technologies for Telkom. My daily duties involve building front end web applications, web widgets and plugins using Javascript, HTML, CSS and Flash. On the odd occasion I get to build animations with Flash, Javascript or After Effects. My focus recently has been on Front End Web architecture using the correct tools, methodologies and frameworks to produce highly functional, highly optimized and very efficient front end web apps. I have also been building mobile concepts with Android, Adobe AIR for Android and iOS, PhoneGap and Web technologies.

I was contracted to Blackginger as a 3D Artist performing modelling , animation, compositing, motion graphics and texturing duties. During the period I worked on tv ads such as Vodacom Meerkat, Vodacom Broadband, Samsung mobile spots and 5FM to the power of 5 amongst other things. To produce the material we used toolsets including Softimage XSI, Adobe After Effects, Renderman and Photoshop.
